The way in which we handle our projects, separates us from the “home centers” and “fly by night” contractors. We can handle all aspects of your project, which will be overseen by your designer and installer. By providing all of the services needed to complete your job, you the homeowner can avoid becoming the “general Contractor”. We also believe by taking on the extra responsibility, we can drastically reduce the total project time, and your stress.

HERE ARE THE STEPS OF A TYPICAL “FULL SCALE INSTALLATION”
(Rollover Steps to Learn More)
Day 1 Planning / Electrical Layout
On the first day all concerned parties: your designer, Installers, electricians and plumber meet to go over all the project details. This will include placement for switches, outlets and lights and movement of plumbing lines etc… We want everyone to know the details of the job so they have a feel for who needs to do what when, and the schedule can be set. Next step we start deconstruction of the room.
Day 1 Deconstruction / Rip-Out
After the planning is complete we will start “ripping out” the existing fixtures. We will remove cabinetry, countertops, disconnect plumbing and electric, remove soffits, walls, flooring etc… Kitchen Gallery will remove and dispose of all job related debris, unless otherwise specified. Deconstruction usually takes a day or two. Next step we rough in electric and plumbing.
Day 2 or 3 Electric / Plumbing Rough In
After the room has been “taken apart” our electrician, plumber, and carpenters will begin running all the new lines necessary for plumbing and electric. No job is too large for our team. The carpenters work with the plumber and electrician to ensure proper placement of all the necessary fixtures. Next step, is construction and drywall.
Day 3 or 4 Construction / Drywall
Some construction work will be completed before electric and plumbing goes in. At this point we will build walls, soffits etc…, patch holes, and drywall, tape and spackle. This part of the job can vary in time, solely based on the amount of spackle and sanding. Next step we start installing cabinets.
Day 3, 4, or 5 Cabinet Installation
We are now ready to install your new cabinetry. Our installers will start with the base cabinetry, so we can “template” the countertops as soon as possible. Our guys will be working from drawings and pictures that you and your designer came up with, so that we can ensure your “dream” will become a 3D reality. The wall cabinets will be installed next, and then finally the moldings and trim will complete the job. The size of the project certainly dictates the length of the install, however once the cabinets start going in , the job moves very quickly. Next step we will template your countertops.
Day 4, 5, or 6 Countertop Template
After the Base cabinets are set the countertops can be templated. When using “solid surfaces” , Granite, Quartz etc…, we will template the countertop and 3 days later it will be ready to install. When we build a “laminate” countertop, Formica, or Wilsonart our installers will build the top on site during the cabinet install. Next we install you new Countertops
3 to 4 Days from Template - Countertop Install
When installing your solid surface countertop, or a laminate top, our guys will bring the pieces into the room. Each piece will be mounted to the base cabinetry, and the undermount, or drop-in sink will be set. The install of countertops usually only takes a few hours. Next we can hook up the plumbing
Day 7, 8, or 9 Plumbing Completion
After the countertops go in we can hook up your new sink and faucet. At this point we can also attach refrigerator lines and any other necessary plumbing. Next we can intall your backsplash.
Day 7, 8, or 9 Backsplash Installation
After the countertops are installed we can work on setting your backsplash. Most kitchens we contract use tile backsplashes, but we are versed in installing many different types of material, for that “one of a kind” look. If we use tile normally we can install it in a day or two, and the following day it can be grouted. Our tile installers are the best in the Lehigh Valley, and we can guarantee that “WOW” factor with our tile splashes. Next step is your flooring.
Final Days – Flooring Install
The type of floor you choose will determine the amount of “prep work” we will need to successfully install that floor. A quality floor job starts with a sound sub floor, we can fix old sub floors or sometimes install a whole new one if it is needed. Sub floors will be installed after rip out in the construction stage. If we use tile, a cement board will go down first, then the tile will be set, and grouted. If we use laminate flooring most times we can go over the existing floor. If we use wood flooring it will be installed on the sub floor. Next step will be the finishing touches.
Final Days – Finishing Touches
After the flooring is complete we can finish the moldings, install stoves and dishwashers, and add your baseboard moldings. All of the finishing touches get completed, your kitchen is finally yours, and it’s time to appreciate your completed dream. ENJOY!!!
